Even though I was the last customer of the night and I only ordered 5he 5 dollar special,I was happily greeted ,and my order was fresh and delicious. Fish was perfectly cooked not rushed and overdone. And the fries were crispy with just a hint of.. lemon pepper? Awesome place to eat day or night

J&J Fish in Maywood is a standout among the many J&J Fish locations. Unlike some places where quality can be hit or miss, this spot consistently delivers fresh, flavorful food that never disappoints. I’ve tried a good variety from their menu, and everything has been on point. Whether it’s the crispy, well-seasoned wings or their hearty Philly Chicken meal, you really can’t go wrong. The 6-piece wings with fries and lemon pepper is a personal favorite—perfectly fried, juicy, and packed with flavor. Beyond the food, the customer service here is great. One of the staff members, in particular, is very knowledgeable and makes sure you’re taken care of. They also offer daily deals, which are worth checking out if you want to get the best bang for your buck. If you’re in the Maywood area and craving some top-tier fried fish, wings, or a solid Philly, J&J Fish is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!

Grew up eating here. Illinois can't get any better than the Maywood location! All JJ Fish are not created equal. Western suburbs locations are not the same as City goodness!!!!!!!

After seeing reviews and media on their instagram page i had to try their “3peat”. Had to wait a while in store even with calling in ahead of time but they were very busy so i wont let that affect the review. This was a very tasty sandwhich! Messy yes, but totally worth it!! Highly recommend this place. Picture is only half of the sandwich

The entire menu is great! I’ve ordered from fried fish to grilled items. On a whim after working a long day, their legs and thighs meal has fed my family and everyone is always satisfied. JJ’s has some of the best coleslaw

I had the buffalo fish and it was so delicious with lemon pepper omg fresh and juicy. And I tried the jack salmon and it was delicious. The salmon bowl was also delicious I’m definitely a satisfied customer and will have to admit this is the best Jjs and fish restaurants I’ve ever been to.

Had to get my usual when I came home to visit in April 2023 for my Bday! Wing and Gizzard combo extra lemon pepper and mild sauce I grew up right down the street. Can't go wrong eating here! The food is FYE!!! SMASHED IT ALL ... People never really eat inside.
